SPCA Wednesday! Help Find Chowder A Home

March 8, 2017

A beautiful girl, a spunky personality, smart, observant, affectionate...what's not to love?

Turns out, there's everything to love about Chowder!

This 2-year-old is a recent graduate of the SPCA'sPups at the Pen program, and female inmates at the Erie County Correctional Facility taught her sign language commands. Why sign language? Because Chowder is special for so many reasons...and one of them is that she's deaf.

Chowder knows sit, down, come, yes, and no....and you'll learn how to tell her all this and more when you work with Rita, the trainer who works with the inmates at the correctional facility! Rita will be providing a free training session for Chowder's adopters!

Chowder loves her toys, she loves running around her fenced yard, she loves her daily walks, but most of all, she loves being "talked" to, and spending time with her beloved family. Come meet Chowder at the SPCA's Tonawanda shelter today and find out ALL the reasons she's special! Check out her video here (coming soon!)!
