SPCA Wednesday! Brodie The Ibizan Hound Up For Adoption!

February 17, 2016

Westminster, SCHMESminster. BRODIE thinks the Ibizan Hound should have not only won Best Of Breed Feb. 15, but should have taken Best In Show Feb. 16!

Now, Brodie is a little biased. After all, he IS an Ibizan Hound mix, just shy of 7 years old. Perhaps that's why he wanted a hound to take the main prize two years in a row. We think, though, that Brodie is pretty confident he'll take your personal Best In Show.

Ibizans are known to be quiet, gentle, and relaxed once past the puppy stage - however, they do require regular walks, or a nice yard to prance in! They're also known to be very polite with strangers, but watchful...they don't sell out easily until they know the strangers can be trusted! They're considered "sighthounds," which means they're motivated by sight and speed rather than scent and endurance. They tend to like high levels of excitement but only for short periods of time, and love it when their owners are around them most of the time. Brodie is no exception to any of these rules!
