Got A Wedding Coming Up? Here Are The Top 30 Most Banned Reception Songs!

July 25, 2018

Right in the middle of wedding season, FiveThirtyEight.com has posted the 30 songs that are frequently placed on the wedding parties "Do Not Play" list.

Producer Jimmy says: There are two things that people will remember about your wedding day 1) If the food is cold, and 2) if the music/party time wasn't good.  If you're hiring a professional DJ/service it's best to give your DJ the freedom to read the crowd and play what he/she feels will get people on the floor...this includes line dances (i.e. Cupid Shuffle, Wobble, Cha Cha Slide etc).  Although you and your significant other may not want them played, keep in mind that line dances always a HUGE draw for a dancing crowd. Giving your DJ the freedom to play anything will ultimately give you and your guests the best time!
