Actress Shailene Woodley Streams Her Arrest On Facebook Live

October 11, 2016
Actress Shailene Woodley, best known for starring in the Divergent movies, was arrested for criminal tresspassing. It was during a peaceful protest, so don't expect this to be the beginning of a downward spiral for her. The interesting part is she broadcast it on Facebook Live.

She was with about 200 people protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. In the footage, she says she was peacefully walking back to her car when "they grabbed me by my jacket and said that I wasn't allowed to continue... and they have giant guns and batons and zip ties and they are not letting me go". As she was being taken away in handcuffs she claims she was singled out "because I'm well known, because I have 40,000 people watching".

The full video is over 2 hours long and can be seen below, or there's a 2-minute version here.
